With the recent snowstorm, we can finally breath and stop worrying about when it will come. While the warmer and dryer weather was nice, it was certainly an exception to the rule.

The Lyon County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 2 approved an agreement to bring Lyon County Historical Museum employees on as County employees.

Senior guard Ryan Dalager scored a career-high 28 points, to go along with eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists as Minneota trounced Wabasso 88-51 last Thursday night in Wabasso.
Locals watched as the iconic Round-up building in Minneota was razed in 1975. The Round-up was established in 1934 by brothers Frank and Beggie Westdahl.
The annual "Flurry of Fun" hosted by the St. Edward Religious Program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the American Legion.
