MINNEOTA MEMORY

Locals watched as the iconic Round-up building in Minneota was razed in 1975. The Round-up was established in 1934 by brothers Frank and Beggie Westdahl. Prior to that, it was Klaith's Dry Goods and Grocery Store. The Round-up was a place for local men to hang out and play cards, shoot pool, roll dice and tell tall tales about the fish they caught. There was also a lunch counter and a beer tap in the Round-up.
