This sign, shown in 1976, used to be a showpiece along Highway 68 as it advertised the annual Iris Show that the Minneota Garden Club hosted to a large number of participants and big crowds. The 1976 show drew 48 exhibitors and an attendance of over 500 people. Robert Stassen of Taunton was the grand champion that year.
