On capturing the Region 9C title on Aug. 12 and for qualifying for your first-ever trip to the Class C state amateur baseball tournament next weekend.
Minneota was pushed to the limit by Dumont in its bid for a first-ever Region 9C title, but the Mudhens were able to fend off the Saints in the championship Saturday at K.P. Kompelien Field.
The Minneota Mudhens, who have already qualified for the Class C state amateur baseball tournament, will host either Clinton or Dumont in the Region 9C championship on Saturday, Aug. 12.

Minneota's playoff run came to a screeching halt on Friday with a 10-0 loss to Madison in the Junior Legion playoffs in Montevideo.

For the second straight playoff game, the Minneota Vultures upset a higher seed, this time knocking off Dawson, the No. 2 team in the West, 6-2 on Friday in Bird Island.
Danny Hennen pitched a complete-game three-hitter and AJ Myhre had four hits as the Minneota Mudhens opened the Region 9C playoffs with a convincing 11-1 victory over Rosen Sunday in Dawson.
Carson Javers went 4-for-4 while also earning the win in relief as the Minneota Vultures defeated Canby 11-5 in the first round of the Junior Legion playoffs on Friday.
