Open House set on highway work

The first open house for the 2021 Highway 68 Minneota to Marshall project is set for Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the City of Minneota (129 E 1^st St.) building in Minneota.  The open house will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  There will be a short presentation at 5:30 p.m.  The public will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions and give feedback. 

The project includes the widening of shoulders along Highway 68 from Minneota to Marshall.  The project also includes replacement of culverts along Highway 68 as well as the replacement of three culverts near Porter.

Benefits of the project include enhanced safety and drainage improvements.  The anticipated cost of the project is $10.5 million dollars.
