Looking more like a game of slide and follow the leader, Chris Berg of Cottonwood slid into second too late. Brant Buysse (right) of Minneota had applied the tag and went sprawling. Catcher Austin DeVlaeminck threw out two Cottonwood runners and Minneota pulled off a double play in the fifth. Mark Laleman also made a run-saving, diving catch in right field.
