When the dust clears, Emily Pohlen will be safe at home. Pohlen had four hits in a 20-10 Minneota-Canby win over RCW in the second of two games on Thursday. The rest of her team watched and the umpire called her safe. The RCW catcher was Brooke Engstrom.

Heidi Guttormsson was the Marshall Invitational Tournament medalist on Tuesday — and in the process set a new school record with a score of 75 (40-35).

Minneota/Canby and Renville County West split a doubleheader on Friday. RCW won the first game, 8-7 while Minneota-Canby took the second game, 20-10 in six innings.
