Vikings edge RTR to snap skid

Jacob Hennen scored 15 of his game-high 24 points in the first half and Minneota held off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 56-54 in a thrilling Camden Conference game on Tuesday night in Tyler.
Minneota, which snapped a five-game losing streak, seemingly had the Knights on the ropes, leading 52-38 with five minutes remaining in the game. RTR then went on a 16-4 run before running out of time.
The Vikings went at the basket aggressively in the first half despite being whistled for four charging fouls.
Jacob Citterman finished with eight points despite being in foul trouble in the first half and eventually fouling out with five minutes left in the game. AJ Josephson also had eight points, seven of those coming in the second half. Bishop Drietz chipped in with six points.
