Minneota places eighth out of 30 teams at Redwood River Riot
Three Minneota wrestlers placed in the top seven in their respective weight class while the Vikings finished eighth among 30 teams in the Redwood River Riot Saturday in Redwood Falls.
Adam DeVlaeminck went 4-2 and placed fourth at 127 pounds. Kaden Lasnetski went 4-2 and finished fifth at 114 pounds. Destin Fier also went 4-2 and placed seventh at 160 pounds.
Marshall won the team title with 163.5 points. Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley/Montevideo was second with 159.5. Minneota had 90 points and won 23 of 49 matches.
