Lakeview becomes Vikings 20th victim
The trivia question is: Who was the Minneota Viking girls 20th victim this year?
The answer, the Lakeview Lakers, 61-42.
Minneota is 20-4 overall this year, after completing a 3-0 week at Cottonwood Tuesday night.
While there was nothing impressive about the one-sided win, it was more like a "stew on the stove." You leave it there to simmer long enough and finally it will boil over.
Minneota started so slowly that Lakeview was always in the rear-view mirror, until the Vikings stepped on the gas to take a 28-21 halftime lead.
The pot finally boiled over in the second half when a 9-1 run put the Vikings up 37-22.
Lydia Sussner scored 14 points — with Morgan Kockelman 11; Lizzy Gillingham 10 and three Vikings, Morgan Hennen, Natalee Rolbiecki and Abby hennen with eight each.
Haley Unke scored 11 for Lakeview.
The Vikings will conclude their regular season at home Friday, Feb. 16 against the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights.

Keep the pressure on, gals.
Seems we waited all weekend for the results of the Maranatha game.
Love the results.
