GIRLS BASKETBALL
Dakoda Hennen scored 16 points and Kenadi Arndt notched a double-double to lead four Minneota players in double figures as the Vikings upended Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 71-44 on Friday night in Tracy.
Arndt recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 13 points and 14 rebounds, to go along with seven assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Kiersyn Hulzebos added 14 points for the Vikings (16-3). Grace Hennen delivered 11 points and Faith Myhre had seven. Emma Bottelberghe pulled down eight rebounds off the bench.
The Vikings shot 40 percent from the floor.
Minneota wasn't able to shake the Panthers off early in the first half. Leading 15-13, the Vikings then went on a14-2 run to give themselves a little breathing room at 29-15. Minneota went on to lead 38-20 at halftime.
Hailey Gernentz was the only player for TMB (6-12) to reach double digits with 14 points.

Minneota bolted out of the chute to a 9-0 lead and never looked back as the Vikings rolled to a 59-29 triumph over Canby last Tuesday evening in Canby.
Dakoda Hennen started the early run with a pair of free throws for a 2-0 lead, followed by an inside basket by Kiersyn Hulzebos on a sharp pass from Grace Hennen, another inside basket by Arndt, and a three pointer from Faith Myhre.
Myhre connected on a trio of three-pointers and finished with 11 points, all coming in the first half when the Vikings led 35-16. Her third triple gave the Vikings a 25-8 lead. Hulzebos also reached double figures with 10 points.
Minneota (14-3) shot a modest 37 percent from the field, but limited the Lancers (6-9) to just 25 percent shooting and forced them into 30 turnovers.
Grace Hennen netted points for the Vikings, while Dakoda Hennen had seven, Emma Bottelberghe and Nevaeh Hennen had six apiece, Arndt and Sarah Gruenes had four each, and Hadli Krog had two.
Ava Danielson led Canby with 10 points and five rebounds.
