Fastpitch team eliminated from playoffs

The Minneota-Canby Fastpitch Girls' Softball team lost 10-0 in six innings by St. James Saturday morning at Marshall and were eliminated from the Section 3AA Tournament.
They advanced by winning one of two games in Grove City on Tuesday, but poor hitting and numerous errors let them down on Saturday.
Windom Area advanced in the loser's bracket with a 12-11 win over Benson.
The Vikings ended the season with an overall 12-6 record.
