Exhausting Section run for Bierschenk

The race isn't sometimes so draining the runners need help at the finish line.
Minneota runner Tristan Bierschenk finished as the fifth Canby-Minneota runner, placing 57th out of 146 runners.
But when he got to the end, he didn't have much left. He got help from his father Todd Bierschenk (right) as teammate Blake Stoks looked on.
Bierschenk improved all season and got to the point where he was consistently placing in the top five among Canby-Minneota runners.
His time of 19:05.8 was just a bit high. He's been under 19 minutes several times this year.
