Baseball team opens on Monday in Sioux Falls
The Minneota Vikings Baseball team, in an effort to defy the weatherman, will pack up their gear and head to Sioux Falls on Monday for two games.
There are three teams involved: Minneota, Lac qui Parle Valley and Red Rock Central/Westbrook/Walnut Grove.
Because of the bad weather, the Vikings haven't been able to practice outside and all games have been postponed or canceled up to this point.
Here's Monday's schedule:
2 p.m. — RRC-WWG vs LQPV (LQPV home team)
4:30 p.m. — LQPV vs Minneota (Minneota home team)
7 p.m. — Minneota vs RRC-WWG (RRC-WWG home team)
At Ronken Field, Augustana College, 2505 S Grange Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105
From Interstate 229: Exit north on Minnesota Avenue. Take Minnesota Avenue to 33rd Street (1 mile). Turn left on 33rd. Stay on 33rd until Grange Ave. At Grange take a left.
