William "Bill" Arens

William “Bill” Arens, age 74, of Woodstock, died Thursday, May 11, at the Slayton Rehab and Healthcare Center and Compassionate Care Hospice in Slayton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church in Woodstock.

Burial will be held in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock. Visitation will be Sunday, May 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the church with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marlene; his four daughters, Nancy Blake Lovelady of Minneapolis, MN, Kay Arens of Woodstock, MN, Kristine (Jay) Bird of Chaska, MN, and Bobbi (Steve) Scarrow of Eagan, MN; four grandchildren, Gianna Njau, Valencia Murphy, Marcel Arens and Henry Scarrow; three siblings, Janet Dysthe, Jean (Frank) Mayer and Richard (Susanne) Arens; and other relatives and friends.
