Building a ball field

The K. P. Kompelien baseball field got a concrete face lift on Monday. The Minneota baseball association has undertaken the project to extend the back of the third base (home dugout) to allow for more player room and storage area. Monday a crew put the concrete down for the addition to the dugout. Later a press box, seating for fans above the dugout and bullpen for pitchers to warm up will be added. The crew doing the work included (top, left to right) Charlie Pesch, Sam Buysse (back to camera), Coach Keven Larson, (behind him Paula Pesch, J.D. Pesch and Matt Moon). On the right, Larson helped the concrete onto the ground. The back of the dugout was taken off to allow for the extension.
