Several Minneota volleyball players compete at AAU Nationals
Several members of the Minneota volleyball team competed with the Southwest Minnesota Junior Olympic teams at the AAU Junior National Championships recently in Orlando, FL. The Southwest 17-1, 16-1 and 15-1 teams all competed in the Club Division.
The 17-1s Southwest Minnesota AAU volleyball team went 11-2 and placed third out of 179 teams in the AAU Junior National Championships in the Club division last weekend in Orlando, FL. They went 36-7 this season. Ella Johnson and Lyzah Sussner of the Minneota Vikings were on the team. The 16-1s Southwest Minnesota AAU volleyball team finished 11-1 and placed ninth out of 187 teams in the Club Division. They finished 38-9 this season. Elivia Faris and Claire Rost of Minneota were members of the team. The 15-1s Southwest Minnesota AAU volleyball team was 9-2 at the AAU Junior National Championships in the Club Division last weekend in Orlando, FL. They went 44-6 overall this season. Minneota players on the team were Abby Rolbiecki, Nevaeh Hennen and Sarah Gruenes. The head coach was Halle Jansen and former Minneota standout Natalee Rolbiecki was the assistant coach.
