Minneota No. 1 seed in 5A football

As expected, the unbeaten Minneota Vikings received the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Section 5A football pairings.

The Vikings will host Yellow Medicine East at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at K.P. Kompelien Field.

The semifinals will be played on Saturday, Oct. 30 at the higher seed, and the section championship will be held on Friday, Nov. 5 at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
