Veterans Day dedication

In observance of Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11, there will be a dedication ceremony at Veterans Park in Minneota.

Two new military statues recently acquired by the American Legion will be dedicated at approximately 11 a.m. One statue, entitled "No one left behind" features a U.S. soldier carrying a wounded soldier. The other is a U.S. Navy sailor.

Also, a flag-burning ceremony will be held behind the Legion building at 1 p.m.

There is no in-house ceremony this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
