Western Mental Health to become chemical dependency provider

On Tuesday, the Lyon County Board agreed to submit a Letter of Support to Western Mental Health Center for a chemical dependency treatment program.

“Lyon County has only a few providers with limited staffing capacity and program services that currently offer chemical dependency services in our area,” indicated Sarah Ackerman, Director of Western Mental Health Center.

“We have found an increased need for additional providers to be able to help support additional programming, specifically those with co-occurring disorders of chemical dependency and mental health.”

The board’s approval gives Western Mental Health Center the opportunity to become licensed as a Chemical Dependency Provider. The resolution takes affect immediately.

Lyon County joins ‘Counties Providing Technology’

He said several counties in North Dakota also used the CPT system.

The services provided by the CPT system include:

•Financial support;

•Payroll;

•Payroll web timesheet and date access;
