Three persons arrested on drug charges in Marshall

Three persons were arrested Tuesday, December 18 in Marshall on drug charges.

As a result of the search warrant, Demetrius Moos, age 29, was arrested and charged with 1st degree-controlled substance crimes and Marvellia Jones, age 23, and Kathie Jones, age 49, were arrested and charged with 5th degree-controlled substance crimes.

The Brown/Lyon/Redwood/Renville Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the City of Marshall with the assistance of the CEE-VI Drug Task Force, the Marshall Police Department and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Found during the search warrant was approximately two ounces of heroin, methamphetamine, approximately one pound of marijuana, marijuana wax, assorted controlled substance medications, as well as numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
