Three arrests in Marshall for solicitation

Three individuals have been arrested in Marshall for solicitation of a minor under the age of 16 for prostitution.
The Marshall Police Department assisted by members of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the Brown/Lyon/Redwood/Renville Drug and Human Trafficking Task Force, and the East Metro Human Trafficking Task Force made the arrests.
On October 23, 2018, arrested were a 29-year-old Sioux Falls, SD man, a 55-year-old Hadley, MN man, and a 46-year-old Marshall man.  The names were not given.
The men were arrested as part of an undercover investigation into the on-line solicitation of sex from a female they believed to be 15 years old.
Arrests were made without incident.
All three men are currently in custody at the Lyon County Jail pending the filing of formal charges by the Lyon County Attorney’s Office.
