TEACHERS ON A MISSION
Minneota's preK-12 public school teachers were seen scurrying through town last week on golf carts as they participated in the second annual Scavenger Hunt last Tuesday, Aug. 15. Shown here, left to right is the team of Tiffany Johnson, Chad Johnston, Kristy Schumacher and Jessica Rosa, donning paper hats in front of the Mascot. Four-person teams were given a list of activities to complete or objects to find around town and were required to take a selfie and send it to principal Heather Anderson for verification. Each accomplished mission task was worth a certain number of points. The first team to reach 3,500 points was the winner. The winner this year was the team of Darren Clausen, Kendra Jerzak, Caitlyn Sonnenburg and Taylor Niska, winning by only 30 seconds over the runner-up team.
