Park full of memories

As John Engels read the roll call of veterans remembered and honored, the crosses and flags at Veteran's Park in Minneota paid homage to the veterans.

Standing on guard was the Honor Guard (back), waiting to lift their rifles and fire three vollies in honor of the dead.

Minneota's Veteran's Park was recently completed and new pavers honoring veterans were placed in their honored place in the park. They surrounded Engels as he read.

Taunton and Minneota held services on Memorial Morning — and the Light the Lights ceremony was held in the evening.
