Minnesota Responds seeking volunteers
Minnesota Responds Volunteer Coordinators are in the process of recruiting medical (RNs, LPNs, CNA but also ancillary services and others with medical type background such as veterinarian, dental, chiropractor and more) and “non-medical” volunteers to contribute their skills and expertise during the COVID-19 crisis.
Minnesota Responds is seeking individuals that are working or retired and willing to offer assistance. An individual does not have to be in the health care field. Anyone interested in helping the community is encouraged.
Minnesota Responds is a partnership that integrates local, regional, and statewide volunteer programs to assist our Public Health and healthcare systems during a disaster and/or emergency.
Local Minnesota Responds Volunteer Coordinators mobilize health and “non-health” volunteers to respond to emergencies within the community. Major emergencies can overwhelm the capabilities of hospitals and clinics. Volunteers during this critical time can play an important role to improve overall response capabilities.
Minnesota Responds would like interested volunteers to register now. Personal information such as licenses, certifications, competencies, and contact information should be available.
Register online at www.mnresponds.org and click on “Register Now”.
