Gayle Van Vooren and Loralee Miller dressed up for their appearance in the musical pageant "Let Freedom Ring" during the Minneota Bicentennial Days celebration May 29-31, 1976. Several other women from Minneota also appeared in costume of former years and took part in the pageant staged in the Minneota High School auditorium. The pageant consisted of 12 episodes stressing music of the Bicentennial period.
