Flurry of Fun silent auction starts Jan. 31

As part of Catholic Schools Week, which begins on Jan. 31, the annual Flurry of Fun will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the American Legion building.
The Flurry of Fun is a fundraising event for the St. Edward Religious Education Program and St. Edward School.
The silent auction will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 31. The silent auction will feature many donated items such as gift baskets, golf packages, gift cards, decor, Dessert of the Month membership, Jim Meger print, espresso/cappuccino machine, reserved parking and reserved pews at St. Edward's Church, and much more.
Those interested in bidding on the items will be able to view and bid throughout the week until just before the live auction event on Feb. 5.
The live auction bidding, with a live auctioneer, will be available only on the night of the event.
There will also be a gun raffle through Give Smart and the night of the event. Raffle tickets are available for purchase. For those unable to attend the event on Feb. 5, you can select the gun raffle item and purchase your tickets online.
Silent auction bidding will be done online. Those registered that get outbid on a particular item will be notified via text message or email.
To register or to view and/or bid on a silent auction item, purchase dinner tickets, or just to contribute, visit http://e.givesmart.com/events/oiK.
The meal will be catered by Baune's Catering. Tickets are $45 per person and includes the meal.
The Minneota Legion now has a full liquor license, with this license a full bar will be provided. No outside liquor can be brought in the night of the event, per Legion policy.
Upon conclusion of the live auction, entertainment will be provided by RockIit Man and Dueling Pianos. They each performed two years ago at the Flurry of Fun (it was not held last year due to COVID restrictions) and were brought back by popular demand.
The doors will open at the Legion at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 5.
