Canby-Minneota Sensations 3rd;

The Canby/Minneota Sensations dance team placed third in High Kick at the Camden Conference meet on Friday at Lakeview High School in Cottonwood. Canby/Minneota's Kylie Sterzinger, left, in High Kick, and Isabel Thompson, in Jazz and High Kick, were named to the all-conference teams. Yellow Medicine won the High Kick competition, with Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd finishing second and Canby/Minneota third. In Jazz, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd was first, Yellow Medicine East second and Worthington third. "The girls had an amazing performance at conference," said Canby/Minneota coach Shauna Jo Vernlund. "We have been working hard and their hard work is paying off." The Section 3A meet is Feb. 10 in Montevideo.
