Big New Year’s Day Sale is 24th annual

For the 24th time, the annual New Year Sale will be held at Gislason’s Hardware and the Arched Door in Minneota. Barb Rye says, “This is our biggest sale of the year.”

Annually, it brings a large crowd to the Main Street (Highway 68) in Minneota. Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1 it will include 50 percent off all Christmas Decor.

And storewide, there is a 20 percent off tag on all merchandise except solar salt.

This sale is expected to kick off the year, hoping for a good business retail year in 2019.
