There is still time to get covered—MNsure's open enrollment period ends January 13
Minnesotans still have time to find health insurance coverage for 2019 through MNsure. Sign up by January 13 for coverage starting February 1, 2019.
Financial assistance is available. Individuals earning up to $48,560 a year, or a family of four earning up to $100,400 a year, could qualify for federal tax credits. Minnesotans who want a quick estimate of financial help can look at MNsure's income guidelines or use the plan comparison tool.
"We're here to help Minnesotans access comprehensive coverage for a safe and healthy 2019,” said MNsure CEO Nate Clark. “MNsure is the only place where you can compare health plans and access the valuable federal tax credits that can make health insurance more affordable.”
Enrollment in private health plans continues through January 13, 2019.
Minnesotans who qualify for a public health care program (Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare) or are a member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe can enroll year-round. For in-person assistance enrolling in a health plan, Minnesotans can use the assister directory to find a broker or navigator in their area.
MNsure assisters are also available at daily enrollment events throughout the state. All assisters are certified through MNsure and their assistance is free of charge.
