November Elementary Viking Valor
Pre-schooler Brynley DeSmet is kind, polite and a good friend to her classmates. She says, “Please” and “Thank you” and sits quietly when listening to a story. She keeps her hands to herself and remembers to use walking feet in the school. She cares about everyone and is a wonderful helper. She cleans up any messes in the classroom, lunchroom or bathroom. Even before the clean up timer goes off, she already has picked up the toys even if she wasn’t playing with them! She is quiet during rest time and listens to all of her teachers! She is a hard worker and loves to learn new things! Great job, Brynley DeSmet, on showing Viking Valor!
The Kindergarten teachers are proud to award the November student of the month to Winston Strand. He’s an extremely polite, kind, and hard-working student who always offers help to others without being asked. He pays special attention to directions and does their best at all times. This student takes corrections with ease and is motivated to always learn more. If you walked into our classroom, you would witness Strand watching the teacher to follow every direction, completing activities with care and helping his/her classmates with everything. It would be difficult to count the number of times he says, “please” and “thank you” daily because it is SO OFTEN! Our congratulations this month goes to Winston Strand!
The first grade teachers nominated Aubree Myhre as someone who exemplifies all the parts of Viking Valor. She shows respect to those around her with her caring attitude and kindness. She always has a smile on her face and is excited for each day. She’s a wonderful helper and a good friend to her classmates. She meets high expectations by always completing her best work the very first time and giving 100 effort. Aubree can often be heard encouraging and guiding others in the classroom daily. She shows honor by keeping the classroom, workspace, and the hallways clean, getting her work done, and staying on task without reminders. She is a wonderful role model to others. Keep up the good work, Aubree Myhre!
The second grade teachers would like to award the November Student of the month to Brycen Myhre. He is extremely hard-working and always has a positive attitude and always comes to school with a smile on his face. He’s self-motivated to do his best in all aspects of the classroom. He never backs down from a challenge and is a natural leader in our classroom and does an excellent job participating in classroom discussions. Brycen is always willing to help others as well as goes out of his way to include others in classroom activities. He also goes above and beyond to show Viking valor in all areas of our school. The November student of the month truly goes above and beyond. Keep up the amazing work, Brycen Myhre!
The third grade teachers would like to recognize someone who is truly a great asset to third grade. Ella Laleman comes to school each day with a smile that lights up the classroom and an attitude that she will be productive and do her best work. As teachers, we appreciate how well she listens and participates in class. Laleman is respectful by working quietly and efficiently to get all of her classwork done as well as meet her AR goal. This student helps others and the teachers without being asked. This student is a true role model for his/her peers. Well done, Ella Laleman. We are proud of you!
All of the fourth graders show Viking valor in their own ways throughout the day and it doesn’t go by unnoticed. We would like to recognize one particular student who shows Viking Valor in many ways. First, Quinton Anderson is respectful of others and works quietly so that others around him can concentrate on their work. Secondly, he is kind to everyone and treats all of their classmates with respect and kindness. Third, Quinton makes a habit of turning in his work on time and uses his class time very wisely. He also has a great smile that literally can light up our classroom. Keep up the great job, Quinton Anderson!
The Fifth Grade teachers would like to nominate Jasmine Peterson as Student of the Month for her kindness to classmates and for attention to detail. She comes with a smile on their face each day and is more than willing to step in to help any classmate with any problem they might have. Whether that’s with academics or socially. She makes a point to not leave friends in any type of situation, and is always willing to put in the extra effort on their own work. Keep up the great attitude Jasmine Peterson. We are proud of you!
The Sixth Grade teachers would like to nominate Dakota Pesch because she comes to school each day ready and willing to learn. Dakota always has a positive attitude and is willing to put in a little extra work and time when necessary. She is looking out for others each day and the best interest in those around her. She always gives off positive vibes with a smile on her face. Great job, Dakota Pesch!
