Lyon Co Museum remains closed
The Lyon County Museum in Marshall will remain closed to the public until further notice.
With the release of Minnesota’s Stay Safe Plan on May 20, museums fall under the category of entertainment and must remain closed until further guidance is released.
Currently, only staff members, contractors, and maintenance workers are allowed in the museum building.
The museum staff asks that anyone who is interested in donating items for the museum collection or need to pick up research materials, to please set up an appointment and staff will deliver or pick up items from your vehicle. Staff can be reached at 507-537-6580 or director@lyoncomuseum.org.
Visit our website at www.lyoncomuseum.org and our social media sites for museum information and check back as we continue to expand online programming.
The museum staff wishes to thank volunteers, members, and communities in Lyon County for their support, as well as everyone for their understanding and patience during this unprecedented time in our history.
