Friends of Minneota Library holding a fundraising raffle

The popular Chocolate Affair will not be held this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Instead, The Friends of the Minneota Public Library are sponsoring a new fundraiser, selling $10 raffle tickets with 10 prizes valued between $50-$325.
With hard work and the generosity of those supporting the library, an elevator was installed this past summer allowing access to the Opera Hall for everyone. Two grants were also recently awarded for repair of the Big Store’s exterior.
A limited number of tickets has been printed, and the prizes are a family photography session with Laura Buysse, a two-night stay at the Marshall AmericInn, a meat bundle from Brad’s, tickets to TASTE - the SMSU culinology restaurant, a Mascot subscription, and gift cards from Gislason’s Ace Hardware, AgPlus, City Hall Bar & Grill, Highway 68 Liquor, and Minneota Building Materials.
Tickets are available at the Minneota Public Library, Brad’s Market, and Gislason’s. Purchasing tickets will help support library programming and projects.
