Golf ball roll winners

The Boxelder Bug Days Golf Ball roll was held Sunday with Casey Pohlen winning the top prize of $500. His ball number was 48.

Second prize of $250 went to a Carmillo, California woman.

Others were: 3. $100-Alvin Smith. 4. Greg Wambach, $75 5. John Winters $50 with $25 each to Trent Esping, Robin Minnehan, one unknown winner; Kate Pohlen and Jamie Bossuyt.

Relay for Life event at City Hall

The City Hall Bar and Grill will host a cancer fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17. The menu will be pizza and wings and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Tracy Larson is in charge of the event.

VFW raffle winners named

The Minneota-Taunton VFW had their raffle drawing recently. Terry Schreiber was the top prize winner and took home $1,000.
