‘1968’ appears on Oct. 1, 3

A presentation, "1968: A Year That Shaped A Generation" is planned for 6:30 p.m., Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 1 and 3 in Lyon County.

The Oct. 1 presentation will be at the Marshall-Lyon County Library, 201 C. Street in Marshall. The Oct. 3 presentation will be in the Whipple Gallery, located in the McFarland Library at Southwest Minnesota State University.

History Professor Dr. Jeff Kolnick and adjunct instructor Dr. Joan Gittens will discuss the election of 1968.

The presentations are sponsored by the SMSU History Club and the Marshall-Lyon County Library. Both are free and open to the public.
