Stassen, Johnson, Sussner receive honors

Minneota senior setter Ireland Stassen, junior outside hitter Ella Johnson and junior libero Lyzah Sussner were all named to the Class A Volleyball All-Tournament team announced at the conclusion of the championship match Saturday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Stassen amassed 73 assists, 81 digs, 33 kills, 12 blocks and four aces in the three tournament matches. Johnson finished with 42 kills, 13 digs, three blocks and two aces. Sussner produced 75 digs, 19 assists and two aces.
Joining them on the All-Tournament team were: Gabby Wachholz, Mayer Lutheran; Stella Maass, Mayer Lutheran; Madeline Guetzkow, Mayer Lutheran; Jade Reese, Badger-Greenbush/Middle River; Ava Mueller, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa; Kinley Soiley, Mabel-Canton; and Sahara Morken, Mabel-Canton.Stassen and Johnson were also named to the Class A All-State team, it was announced recently.
