The Minneota 7-8 grade wrestling team placed second from among 13 competing teams in the Region tournament this past weekend in LeSueur and also qualified for the state tournament March 30-April 2 in Rochester. Minneota topped Fulda/Murray County Central 30-15 and Marshall/Lakeview/Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 38-6 before being beat by Albert Lea in the championship, 29-21.
