Youth Wrestling

The Minneota K-6 Youth Wrestling team placed third out of 17 teams in the Region tournament in Tracy this past weekend and qualified for the state tournament March 30-April 2 in Rochester. Minneota defeated Springfield 55-18, and Marshall/Lakeview 51-23 before losing in the semifinals to Worthington, 46-18. Minneota then defeated Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial 54-24 in the third-place match.
