9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Registration, fishing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the inaugural Mustang Ice Classic on Lake Sarah. This first-ever ice fishing contest will feature over $20,000 in sponsorships and prizes, according to Mike VanDrehle, Alumni Director and event organizer. An awards ceremony will follow.

10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. — The January Time Travelers program at the Lyon County Museum will combine both age groups, students in grades one to six for a special program. Rick Mills, who serves as Director of the South Dakota State Railroad Museum in Hill City, will conduct a program on the railroad, titled, “I Saw a Train: What They Do and Where Do They Go?” 2 p.m. — Mills will present a special program geared for adults, titled: “What the Railroads Brought to the High Plains”.
