Minneota’s American Legion Baseball Team and the Junior Legion both open their seasons this week. The Junior Legion opened with a game Tuesday night at Canby, winning 8-3.

Two Minneota-Canby softball players were named to the Camden All-Conference team. Both are from Canby and both are seniors.
The Viking Golf Academy 2017 at the Minneota Golf Course has been set for June 19-23 and June 26-29. Instructors include Nicole Evers, Brooklynn Downing and Minneota Golf Coach Greg Gile.

This year’s guest speaker is Mayor Mike Huether, City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mayor Huether will speak on regional economic development and the importance of both private and public investment in our communities. Advance registration is necessary.
