Friends of the NRA Banquet

Friends of the NRA Banquet will be held at KB’s Bar and Grill in Ghent. It’s the annual fundraiser in Southwest Minnesota to celebrate a legacy of shooting sports. Auction and raffle will be held with dinner and fun. Guns will be auctioned. The Friends of the NRA have given out $55,000 to LOCAL youth shooting. Tickets are available on line at friendsofnra.org.

9 a.m. ceremony at the St Eloi Catholic Church with a roll call of the dead, followed by a ceremony at the St Eloi Cemetery, with a 21-gun salute, flag ceremony, and a special reading by Pat Byrne. Lunch follows at the Town Hall. Sponsored by Ghent Engels Wilson American Legion Post 564

Minneota graduated 45 students during the presentation of the Class of 2017 on Saturday.

Among them was Austin DeVlaeminck, as he listened to the speeches during the event.
