Reduced Rate Collection Day at the Landfill at the Lyon County Landfill

Approved a one-day Reduced Rate Collection Day at the Landfill from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9.

Televisions, monitors and other screens will include a $5 reduction fee. VCR, DVD players and stereo equipment will be free and larger commercial printers will be reduced to $20.

Residential printers will be reduced to $5.

“This has been a popular event,” said Roger Schroeder, director of the county landfill.
