GORDON DENNO

1939-2025

Gordon James Denno, 87, of St. Charles, MO; and a native of Minneota, died on Nov. 9, 2025.
Gordon was born on Feb. 21, 1939. He graduated from Minneota High School in 1956. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps from 1968-1988, earning numerous honors, including the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Illinois School of Podiatric Medicine, now the Dr. William M. Scholl School of Podiatric Medicine. Following his military retirement, Dr. Denno returned to academia as a Professor of Surgery at both Scholl and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where he taught for many years.
Gordon was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Denno, sons Marc Denno and Brian (Susan) Denno, grandchildren Drew Denno, Alyssa Denno, Matthew (Mariah) Denno, and Amanda Denno; and sister, Joyce Denno.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Bertha Denno, and the mother of his children, Marilyn Denno.
