MINNEOTA MEMORIAL RUN SLATED FOR AUG. 19

The 22nd annual Minneota Memorial Run is set to be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, rain or shine.
"Let's Ride for a Cause" will take cyclists through several cities promoting driving safety, as well as memorializing those who were killed on highways and roads.
Registrations begin at 10:30 a.m. and close at noon at City Hall Bar & Grill. The cost is $30 per rider.
There will be grilled burgers and brats following the Memorial Run. A memorial program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with several cash prizes being handed out. T-shirts are available for sale.
The name of a loved one lost in a motor vehicle accident can be added to a memorial plaque for $30.
All proceeds from the Minneota Memorial Run will go the local VFW and ABATE of Minnesota.
