Joy Buysse, shown here with some of the children she cared for at her home in Minneota, was named the Lyon County Care Provider of the Year on Oct. 8, 1999. Buysse was honored at the Minnesota State Day Care Providers Association banquet for all of the county winners in Minneapolis. Buysse, who has been a day care provider for nine years, received a certificate signed by the governor.
