Minneota to host blood drive June 24

Minneota will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesday June 24 at the American Legion.
As summer travel begins, the American Red Cross is calling on people to schedule blood or platelet appointments now to help ensure lifesaving blood products are ready for patients when every second matters.
Patients who experience critical injuries or massive bleeding may need blood products immediately. During Trauma Awareness Month, the Red Cross is asking donors of all blood types, especially platelet donors, to give now.

All who come to give blood on June 1-28, 2026, will receive a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice, plus be automatically entered for a chance to win one of two $7,500 gift cards.
