Fagen WWII Museum to host 250th anniversary of Navy, Marine Corps on Aug. 16-17

Fagen Fighters World War II Museum in Granite Falls will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy and Marine Corps called "Victory at Sea" on Aug. 16-17.
The two-day event honors those who served during World War II and will feature a full arsenal of airworthy WWII aircraft, operational ground vehicles, reenactors, and guest speakers on naval and marine history.
There will be face painting and WWII vehicle rides for the kids. Visitors can walk through makeshift camps and visit with reenactors in WWII character.
Both days will have plenty of food wagons on hand serving burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pulled pork sandwiches, steak-on-a-stick, Mexican food and much more. Breakfast food will also be served on Sunday. A Good Lemon, operated by Alex and Deanna Lessman of Taunton will also be serving fresh lemonade and pretzels both days.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets in advance are $20 for adults ($25 the day of the event) and free for those 17-and-under.
