The Minneota pool is now open and that means lots of kids will be heading to the pool and back home again.
You can expect to see kids coming and going all day long and this means you need to watch for them. Kids are known for thinking about everything other than safety, so we need to think about it for them. Expect them to not look before crossing the street. Expect them to walk two or three wide on the shoulder of the road. Expect them to be laughing and having a good time while not listening for traffic.
Yes, they should be careful but let us hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Slow down, look for kids, and save a life.
