I have had several people ask me when we will have "Spring Clean-Up." A specific date has not been set but I suspect it will be toward the end of April.
Weather, availability of pickup, and other factors will determine the exact date. However, you don’t need to wait to start your cleaning. Many items can be put in your garbage can for weekly pick-up. You could also use the recycling site in Minneota or pay for a small dumpster to be delivered to your home. Other options include hauling items to the Lyon County Dump as well as taking prohibited items to the Lyon County Household Hazardous Waste site in Marshall.
