Stassen, Johnson selected to play in MNVBCA All-Star Series

Ireland Stassen and Ella Johnson, All-State players from Minneota's Class A state championship volleyball team in 2022, have been selected to participate in the 2023 Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association All-Star Series.
There are three All-Star teams, two consisting of those graduating this past spring, and one with players currently in high school. Each team played against the other two teams on Wednesday, July 26 at Mounds View High School beginning at 6 p.m.
The Mascot went to press prior to the matches being held.
Stassen, a setter/right-side hitter, is playing for the Sota team. She will be attending Southwest Minnesota State University in the fall and play volleyball for the Lady Mustangs.
Johnson, who will be a senior this fall at Minneota High School, is an outside hitter. She is playing for the Futures team in this All-Star Series.
Team Minne and Team Sota consist of eight players each, while Team Futures has a 12-player roster.
